I was born in Athens. I studied   Physics at MIT  and Applied Physics at Yale.

I have worked in experimental low temperature physics with Bob Wheeler at Yale,  Jet Vapor Deposition with Jet Process Co. in New Haven and monolithic microwave integrated circuits in the Microelectronics Research Group of FORTH-IESL in Crete, Greece. I have taught device physics and computer programming at the Physics Department of the University of Crete , and Radio Frequency electronics, Instrumentation , Device Modelling and Analogue Electronics at Imperial.

In my spare time I play music, sing with the South London Chorus and repair things.

I have 3 wonderful children .
